Sound familiar?
- We’ve been quoted for AI work and can’t tell whether we need it.
- Someone wants to buy 40 Copilot licences and nobody can say what for.
- We know AI is a risk. We don’t know which risk, or how big.
- Every provider we talk to starts with their product, not our firm.
- The board asked for an AI position and we don’t have one.
- We’ve had the conversation three times and it never turns into a plan.
A licence is a cheap thing to buy and an expensive thing to buy blind. Work out what it’s for first. That part takes half a day.

AI Readiness Assessment
Around 30 questions across five areas: the AI tools you use now, your data, your people’s skills, whether AI is on the leadership agenda, and your security and governance. Five minutes. Your score is on the screen when you finish, with the gaps named.

AI Privacy Policy Checker
Enter your domain. We find your privacy policy, check what it says about automated decisions, then ask seven questions about what your firm actually does. From 10 December 2026 that disclosure is a legal requirement for a lot of firms whose policies say nothing about it today.

Web AI Readiness Audit
Enter a page and it checks how well that page is set up to be found, understood and recommended by AI tools: structured markup, technical signals, and whether the content is in a shape an assistant can use. Hosted on our web design site.
Run the audit→The AI Discovery Workshop
Who’s in the room The business owner or managing partner, whoever runs operations, and whoever owns risk or compliance. Bring IT by all means. A workshop with only IT people in it produces an IT answer, and the answer you need is a business one.
What we do We go through your actual workflows and find where AI genuinely helps, then we’re equally specific about where it doesn’t. We map the risks against your industry rather than a generic list. We look at what your data and your systems can carry today. And we work out what order to do things in.
What you get One written report, inside five business days. A use-case register, every candidate scored on business value and delivery risk. A prioritised shortlist, the three to five worth doing first, each with an effort band so you can budget. A risk register written against your firm. A draft AI usage policy for your own governance process. A snapshot of how AI assistants currently describe and recommend you. And a roadmap with the decision points marked.
What it costs $2,500 ex GST, fixed, including preparation and the report. Start an implementation project with us within 60 days and the fee comes off it.
What it isn’t A technical audit. We’re not spending the morning in your tenant reading permission reports. That’s the next step and it’s priced separately. It isn’t a vendor pitch either. Every workshop closes with a named recommendation, and sometimes that recommendation is one small thing and nothing else this year.
Start with a 30-minute AI risk conversation
We’ll ask what your staff are using, what your policy says, and what’s worrying the partners. You’ll leave with a clear view of where your biggest AI risks sit, even if we don’t end up working together.
Book a timeWhat happens next
You get the report, then you decide. Most firms pick one or two things off the shortlist and we quote those as fixed-price projects. Some go straight to the monthly governance service. Some do nothing for six months, which is a legitimate answer to a roadmap.
What a workshop never ends with is silence. Every one closes with a named recommendation, even when that recommendation is to wait.

Who runs the workshop
A vCIO from our team, working from a fixed pack so you get the same session whoever delivers it. No vendor in the room, no slide deck about the future of work, and the report lands within five business days.
Questions partners ask us
- How is a $2,500 workshop different from a free consultation?
- A free consultation produces a proposal. This produces a document your board can read, with a use-case register, a risk register and a roadmap in it, and it’s yours whether or not you buy anything else. We’d rather charge for the strategic work and do it properly.
- How long does the AI readiness assessment take?
- About five minutes, around 30 questions across five areas. Your score is on the screen when you finish. No name or email is needed to see it.
- Do we need to do the assessment before the workshop?
- No, but it saves roughly an hour of the session, and the session is the expensive part. If you’d rather just talk, we cover the same ground on a call.
- Is half a day really enough for an AI strategy session?
- For a firm of 10 to 100 staff, yes, with the right people in the room and the preparation done. Larger or more complicated firms run to a full day, and we say so before you book rather than after.
- Who delivers the workshop?
- A vCIO from our team. These are advisory sessions, not engineering ones. If an engagement only works with a specialist in the room, it doesn’t get run often enough to be any good.
- What happens after the workshop?
- You get the report inside five business days, then you decide. Most firms pick one or two things off the shortlist and we quote those as fixed-price projects. Some go straight to the monthly governance service. Some do nothing for six months, which is a legitimate answer to a roadmap.
- Is the draft AI policy a legal document?
- No. It’s a working draft for your own governance process. We’ll tell you which parts are worth a lawyer’s eye.
Take the assessment first
Five minutes, and the report is yours either way. If it comes back lower than you expected, that’s the conversation worth having, and we’ll have it before you commit to anything.
